Mira Bhayandar,
September 3, 2026: Under the auspices of Jamiat Ulama Mira Bhayandar, a grand and spiritually uplifting Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ conference was held in Mira Road. The event saw a large turnout of Islamic scholars, mosque Imams, religious and social figures, as well as dignitaries and the general public. From beginning to end, the atmosphere of the conference remained highly peaceful, dignified, and spiritual, with attendees listening to the faith-inspiring speeches of the scholars with complete focus and devotion.
The conference was presided over by the President of Jamiat Ulama Maharashtra, Hazrat Maulana Hafiz Mohammad Nadeem Siddiqui, while Mufti Hammad Nomani beautifully conducted the proceedings as the master of ceremonies. The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Badr Alam Irfani, followed by a Naat presented by Maulana Sajid Qasmi, whose soulful recitation filled the hearts of the audience with deep love for the Prophet ﷺ.
Speaking on the significance of the Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ, the President of Jamiat Ulama Maharashtra, Hazrat Maulana Hafiz Mohammad Nadeem Siddiqui, stated that the blessed life of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is a perfect model and a source of guidance for all of humanity. He urged Muslims to not only study the Prophet’s life but also to actively integrate his morals, character, worship, and social dealings into their daily practical lives.
Emphasizing the vital importance of religious education, he added that it is indispensable for protecting the faith, belief, morals, and Islamic identity of the younger generation. Maulana Nadeem Siddiqui stated, “The life of the Prophet ﷺ and religious education are, in fact, the foundation of our existence; a strong connection to both guarantees the formation of a righteous, well-mannered, and faithful generation.”
Maulana Mohammad Ibrahim Qasmi, General Secretary of Jamiat Ulama Maharashtra, delivered a highly comprehensive and substantial speech on the topic. He described the Prophet’s lifestyle as the greatest source of guidance for the Muslim community, stressing that studying the blessed life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ should not be merely for gathering information, but for molding our practical lives according to the Sunnah (prophetic tradition).
Mufti Syed Huzaifa Qasmi, Organizer of Jamiat Ulama Maharashtra, also delivered a scholarly, well-reasoned, and impactful speech on various aspects of the Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ. Highlighting its relevance in the context of contemporary times, he urged Muslims to adopt the Prophet’s teachings, character, and excellent example in both their individual and collective lives.
Mufti Ismail Qasmi, Member of the Shura (Advisory Board) of Darul Uloom Deoband and MLA of Malegaon, addressed the ethical aspects of the Prophet’s life. He remarked that the Seerat is a boundless ocean with no end, making it impossible for any human being to fully encompass even a single aspect of the Prophet’s pure life. He stated that his character remains fresh, alive, and a source of guidance for every era, adding that the life of the Prophet ﷺ is not just a chapter of history, but an everlasting and complete code of life.
During the conference, Master Tabarak Hussain Siddiqui was congratulated and paid tribute for his forty years of dedicated service to Jamiat, and was honored with the Maulana Mazhar Alam Qasmi (RA) Award.
