Condolence message by Maulana Hafiz Mohammad Nadeem Siddiqui, President, Jamiat Ulama Maharashtra

Hazrat Maulana Atiq-ur-Rahman Qasmi, currently residing at Masoom Colony, Beed city, passed away today. Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return (Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un).
May Almighty Allah grant complete forgiveness to the late Maulana, bestow upon him a place in His encompassing mercy, and grant patience and peace to all family members.
Upon hearing the news of the sad demise of the late Maulana, Maulana Hafiz Mohammad Nadeem Siddiqui, President of Jamiat Ulama Maharashtra, expressed deep grief and sorrow, stating that the late Maulana was a talented, sincere, serious-minded, and devout religious scholar. His passing is undoubtedly a major shock and an irreparable loss for his family, associates, friends, and religious circles.
Maulana Atiq-ur-Rahman Qasmi was the eldest son of Hazrat Maulana Mohammad Qasim Qasmi of Chakla Amba, Taluka Georai, District Beed. Hazrat Maulana Mohammad Qasim Qasmi is an elder and senior religious scholar. Benefiting from the scholarly and religious affiliation of his revered father, the late Maulana rendered services in the religious field and earned respect and high standing among both the general public and elites due to his competence, good manners, and religious dedication. He had very good relations with Maulana Mohammad Yunus; upon his guidance, the late Maulana rendered religious services at a madrasa in Nippani, Karnataka state. May Almighty Allah accept all his services. The funeral prayer and burial of the late Maulana will be held today after Asr prayer in Masoom Colony.
Maulana Hafiz Mohammad Nadeem Siddiqui said that with the passing of Maulana Atiq-ur-Rahman Qasmi, we have been deprived of a fine and capable religious scholar. His tragic demise is certainly a major scholarly and religious loss. In this hour of grief, he shares the sorrow of the late scholar’s revered father, family, relatives, and all associates, and expresses his heartfelt condolences.
He prayed that Almighty Allah grant complete forgiveness to the late Maulana Atiq-ur-Rahman Qasmi, overlook his shortcomings, elevate his ranks, bestow upon him a high place in Jannat al-Firdaus, and honor his religious services with acceptance. May Almighty Allah grant beautiful patience and immense reward to the revered father of the deceased, his family, and all the bereaved. Amen.
Maulana Nadeem Siddiqui has appealed to the office-bearers and members of all units of Jamiat Ulama, the management of Islamic madrasas, and the Imams of mosques to arrange prayers for the forgiveness (dua-e-maghfirat) and conveyance of rewards (isal-e-sawab) for the late Maulana.
