He said that a Maktab is the first and effective means of establishing a strong connection between a child and religion. Therefore, it is essential to establish and strengthen organized Maktabs for children in every neighborhood and settlement. He told the teachers that they should not restrict their students to bookish knowledge alone, but should develop in them regularity in offering Salah, a connection with the Quran, respect for elders, obedience to parents, truthfulness, cleanliness, good manners, and awareness of an Islamic way of life.
Thereafter, the chief guest, the grandson of Sheikh-ul-Islam, Maulana Mufti Syed Muhammad Salman Mansoorpuri, teacher of Hadith at Darul Uloom Deoband and President of the Dini Taleemi Board Maharashtra, delivered a detailed address on the need for religious and spiritual training, reform of society, and developing a strong connection with religion.
